1. Open the database which is to be uploaded in FileMaker Pro
2. Go to Datensätze/Alle Datensätze anzeigen
3. In the menu, press Ablage/Datensätze exportieren…
4. In the new dialog choose XML as Typ and enter a filename and location you'll remember
5. As Grammar select FMPXMLRESULT and press ok
6. In the new dialog press Alle kopieren
7. Make sure that 'Ohne Formatierung' is selected and click Exportieren
8. Next, go to http://dmd.mpiwg-berlin.mpg.de/admin and click upload ded-Table
9. Click on Browse…, select the xml-file you previously created and press Open
10. Finally, click upload.

3. In Scripts, run the shortref script to generate the reference-column
4. In the menu, press Ablage/Datensätze exportieren…
5. In the new dialog choose XML as Typ and enter a filename and location you'll remember
6. As Grammar select FMPXMLRESULT and press ok
7. In the new dialog press Alle kopieren
8. Make sure that 'Ohne Formatierung' is selected and click Exportieren
9. Next, go to http://dmd.mpiwg-berlin.mpg.de/admin and click upload literatur-Table
10. Click on Browse…, select the xml-file you previously created and press Open
11. Finally, click upload.
