when you remove old files from the folders and put in new ones which have the same name

then the thumbnails are not exchanged in the www-version

but: as soon as you click on a thumbnail, the overview layout appears with the new image

digilib does not recognize if the thumbnails have been exchanged

Either you delete the according thumbnails

or you create all thumbnails again with digilib → please turn to the IT-Group for help
